Job DescriptionFehlinger is hiring for a Director of Sales/CRO for their lower Manhattan location. As the Director of Sales/CRO you will be responsible for leading the sales function of the company. This primarily consists of managing the outside sales team that covers the boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and Albany. You will also develop an overall sales plan. This includes how to go to market, increasing sales to existing customers, and growing our active customer base. Your mandate will be to effectively train, teach, and manage the outside and estimating sales team.Lastly, you will cover certain large accounts that are multi-territory in nature such as the government of New York, New Jersey, and the Federal government as well as your own long-standing client accounts.

("Fehlinger") was founded in 1951 and is a leading technical sales manufacturers' representative, distributor, and after-market service provider for valves, steam specialties, heat transfer and process control applications. Fehlinger primarily works with customers in large facilities such as universities, hospitals, prisons, and commercial buildings in the tri-state area. Additionally, we have a significant business selling to mechanical contractors and plumbers.
