    Description

    We are searching for a Director of Sales for our client in the luxury apparel industry. We are looking for a strategic executive leader with experience with Key Accounts, Dropship Partnerships and Boutique sales. The ideal candidate has experience leading in a high growth environment, launching new brands, developing marketing plans and building strategic relationships. Exceptional financial business acumen, strong understanding of merchandising, and the ability to lead through influence are required. This position leads Sales Managers and Field Sales teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Leads Sales Managers and Field Sales by ensuring sharp focus on execution aimed at achieving sales growth and productivity targets.
    • Achieves profitable sales plans and increases market share by achieving sales objectives and implementing education and marketing strategies.
    • Evaluates sales performance against investment and is accountable for profitable achievement of the sales goals.
    • Collaborates with Marketing and Finance in regards to sharing appropriate consumer and sales information as the voice of our brand and retail partners.
    • Collaborate to create field action plans to differentiate our brand among competitors.
    • Identify shifting consumer behaviors to align the team's strategy with consumer expectations.
    • Develop the talent and capabilities through accompanying store visits, regular management meetings and one-on-ones to help others strive for excellence and reach their highest level of contribution.
    • Cascades sales, education and market strategies to the field sales team and stores to align and engage teams in the vision.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of sales leadership with proven results in driving sales growth and results
    • Experience managing department store key accounts
    • Demonstrated ability to scale business in a high growth environment
    • Deep understanding and appreciation for brand equity and relevance -maintaining brand pride and quality in all interactions
    • Ability to build strong, collaborative and influential relationships with retail partners
    • Ability to quickly evaluate existing processes and demonstrate agility to support change
