    However, this role is a remote role covering the Midwest area of the US.The TeamThis is an opportunity to work interdependently with an engaged team that sits within a global Intermediary function at a global asset management firm.

    Position OverviewThe Sales Director
    • Sub Advisory, Midwest is an external wholesaling role responsible for maximizing Schroders brand recognition by developing strong relationships and proactively marketing Schroders' products and services to its Sub Advisory clients.
    The successful candidate will report to National Sales Director and will be responsible for achieving sales goals, driving asset flows, increasing market share and firm visibility throughout the Midwest distribution footprint.
    ResponsibilitiesSales Management (80%)


    Develop an in-depth knowledge of Schroders' sub advisory product and servicesDemonstrate thorough knowledge of the variable annuity and Subadvisory industryOutbound communication to Subadvisory client's external and internal distribution teams to promote product positioning, thought leadership and investment/capital market views while increasing Schroders' market shareWorks with direct supervisor to create and implement a business plan to maximize presence and activity goals for the Subadvisory teamTravel extensively within assigned territory and manage allocated travel and expense budget properlyCultivate new relationships and deepen existing relationships with clients' distribution teams by conducting territory travel, face-to-face meetings, group presentations, outbound call campaigns, hosting conference calls, and web-based sales meetingsRepresent Schroders at client events such as national and divisional sales meetings, sales desk training presentations, advisor presentations, etc.

    Provide excellent service to accounts to ensure growth and retention of assets and clientsAssists client distribution teams in identifying sales opportunities and provide regular updates on industry trendsAdministrative Responsibilities (20%)Work with contact relationship management database (Salesforce) to track meetings, advisor information, etc.

    Work with direct supervisor to create a rotation schedule and scheduling sales appointmentsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degreeMinimum 5 years of sales experience in an internal, hybrid or external wholesaling role in the financial services industryProven sales acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to build productive relationships; provide training and sales ideasDemonstrated experience conducting meetings and the ability to form relationships with financial professionals in a variety of settings; i.e.

    , via phone, virtually, in-personExtensive investment product knowledge and understanding of financial concepts with the ability to cover a variety of investment topicsAbility to balance multiple priorities and meet specific marketing/production objectivesMotivated, collaborative, self-starterValid driver's licenseAbility to travel (80%) of timeFINRA licenses:

    Series 6 or 7 and 63 licensesCompensation Schroders offers a base salary in a range of $120,000 to $160,000 for this position.

    The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
