    Director of Sales – Northeast (Law Enforcement Ammo & Supplies)

    Company Profile:

    Based in New Jersey, a key player in law enforcement supplies offering top-notch American-made ammunition, simunition, firearms, and tactical gear to law enforcement agencies in the Northeast. Diversifying its product range to meet the evolving needs of law enforcement, focusing on fostering valuable connections and aiding strategic planning for both present and future law enforcement requirements.

    Role Overview:

    The Director of Sales will have a crucial role in developing, planning, and executing sales strategies to boost sales and revenue effectively. This position involves identifying new business prospects, submitting bids, and cultivating enduring customer relationships.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Create and execute a thorough sales strategy to meet sales and revenue targets in the designated region.
    • Establish and nurture strong ties with both new and existing clients.
    • Deliver engaging sales presentations, product demonstrations (both in-person and virtually), proposals, and bids.
    • Utilize various channels like marketing, inside and outside sales to generate leads and attract potential customers actively.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer input to pinpoint areas in need of enhancement.
    • Address customer queries through the company website, social media platforms, calls, and emails.
    • Supervise and provide sales reports to the management.
    • Participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of products and effectively convey their benefits to customers.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent background in law enforcement.
    • Demonstrated success in sales and customer interaction.
    • Thorough knowledge of ammunition, simunition, and firearms.
    • Familiarity with law enforcement, military, and public safety domains.
    • Capability to develop and present Sales Proposals and Bids.
    • Aptitude for closing deals.
    • Self-driven with a strong sales-focused mindset.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Preferably acquainted with NetSuite.
    • Willingness to travel across the Northeast region.

    • Competitive base salary with commission structure.
