We distribute content to over 52 million followers across 134 owned-and-operated channels on TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat, including the iconic @gaming, @gamer and @gamelancer handles.

    Role

    As a Gaming endemic Sales Director at Vertiqal Studios, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities as we expand into the US Market. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the entire sales cycle, from outreach and pitching to negotiation and closing. We are looking for a highly energetic and driven sales hunter with robust experience selling in the Gaming industry or for Gaming properties that will engage brands looking to connect with the coveted 18-34 demographic. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic sales executive with deep experience and relationships within the media landscape–both agency and brand side. The Director of Sales will have an established client list and will also have the opportunity and expectation of developing new sales opportunities in a fast-paced, growing social media landscape.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all phases of the sales cycle: lead generation, pipeline management, sourcing opportunities and RFP's, closing business.
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate Vertiqal Studios value proposition to potential clients.
    • Expand Vertiqal Studio's relationships across the country with both agencies and client direct that would appropriate brands to partner and advertise with Vertiqal Studios.
    • Participation in campaign ideation with the help of the sales support team.
    • Manage inbound RFP's while proactively pitching V/S to the marketplace.
    • Prospect and develop new business, identify and grow accounts across multiple categories within lifestyle and gaming.
    • Lead negotiations, handle objections, and close deals, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded.
    • Leverage the V/S portfolio to up-sell and cross-sell new opportunities.
    • Grow revenue and renewals while maintaining an active pipeline.
    • Understand marketplace trends, innovation and competitive landscape.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to help evolve and execute the company's go-to-market strategy.

    Requirements

    • 8+ Years as a digital seller or related field
    • Passion for gaming and a solid understanding of the gaming industry, including current trends and market dynamics
    • Deep connections with both agency and brand advertisers
    • Relevant experience in the endemic gaming space
    • Prior experience in media selling or related industries is highly preferred
    • High energy and enthusiasm for digital sales
    • Exceptional track record of exceeding revenue targets
    • Creative and consultative seller who continuously finds new opportunities to sell through
