    JOB SUMMARY

    A Business Development Specialist (BDS) will focus on identifying and executing areas of opportunity by developing relationships and networks with loan referral partners, retail lenders, realtors, financial planners, and other industry professionals. They will develop both direct-to-borrower and business-to-business relationships with a focus on loan origination production and overall revenue with the company's core values at the top of mind. An exceptional BDS should be able to multitask between clients, external business partners, and internal support while demonstrating a growth-oriented mindset, collaborative attitude, and professionalism.

    SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    · Develop borrower/client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships.

    · Identify new areas of opportunity for lead generating.

    · Maintain constant communication with borrowers through the origination process

    · Provide education and guidance to borrowers with the utmost fiduciary approach.

    · Guide borrowers through the pre-approval process and property evaluation for current market value and potential market value.

    · Collect confidential material with professionalism at the top of mind.

    · Attend networking events and educational opportunities while upholding the LoanCo brand.

    · Attend pipeline and KPI meetings as described by the team lead.

    · Maintain all leads in the LoanCo loan origination business system.

    · Provide feedback and tracking of personal key performance indicators.

    · Approach opportunities with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset

    · Collaborate with the Director of Business Relations and Operations Manager to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.

    · Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    · 1+ years of experience in Real Estate, Loan Originating or Commercial Lending

    · In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to real estate lending

    · Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus among clients.

    · Proficient in excel, power point, solid grasp of analytics, metrics, data and statistics

    · Aptitude for understanding multiple, interrelated, and complex systems and processes.

    · Must be a self-directed, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually changing environment.

    · Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

    A mortgage license is preferred but not required.

    A Real Estate license is preferred but not required.

    Real Estate Investing and/or Loan Processing Experience is a plus

    Occasional travel as needed.

    ABILITIES REQUIRED

    Ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited timeframe

    Ability to accommodate change and adapt accordingly

    Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently

    Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds

    Ability to work in time-sensitive environments with non-flexible deadlines

    All candidates must have the ability to speak, read, and write English

    Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.

    Ability to sit for extended periods without much movement
