    Job Description and Duties


    California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) seeks to fill a permanent/full-time Staff Services Analyst position in the Office of Legal Affairs.


    Under the direction of the Chief Counsel and Assistant Chief Counsel, the Staff Services Analyst is responsible for analytical support to all team members within the Office of Legal Affairs (COLA) and the Privacy Office, which are located at CCHCS headquarters in Elk Grove, California.

    On-site work may be required on short notice.

    Located less than 30 minutes from Sacramento and Lodi, the progressive city of Elk Grove has a great mix of newly developed housing, business projects, and recreational opportunities.

    Positions eligible for hybrid telework, must be in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.

    The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

    This position is located in the Office of Legal Affairs.

    The Office of Legal Affairs provides legal guidance, representation, and services designed to support the organization with decision-making and mitigation of legal risk.

    Candidates new to CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to appointment followed by department annual TB testing/evaluation thereafter.
