Over sixteen years in the banking industry with thirteen years of proven leadership experience in both retail and business development.   • Managed 24 branches, establishing and developing business partnerships with employers, associations and government agencies.
  • Drove focus groups to increase brand awareness and understand member utility, improving product offers and membership retainment. In my past experience, I have learned that it is imperative to have an understanding of the win-loss analysis of products and services to be able to best serve my clients.
  • Headed and created bi-monthly skill building workshops for internal staff. After visiting multiple branches, my discovery led to a determination that while our tellers and bankers were proficient in operations, they lacked soft skills that enabled them to create meaningful and distinct relationships with both their colleagues and members. Too address these skill gaps, I identified, I facilitated the following trainings. Internal: Teamwork and Collaboration, Time Management and Productivity, and Work-Life Balance. In addition, these trainings were also provided to retail managers around sales and business development. 
  • Managed annual budget for business development and credit union outreach.
  • Over a six-year period, created more than 80 new partnerships that resulted in profitability targets and ROIs.
  • Used traditional (cold calls, emails) and modern (social media, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) methods to communicate with clients. During Covid, I learned to proactively adapt my business plan on networking, meeting new business clients and managing my brand, this resulted in my continuing success in business development. 
  • Recommended member referrals to Leadership Team, business partners within Community Relations, Home Loans, Investment Services and marketing to drive successful achievement of product, service and brand awareness objectives.
  • Planned and executed on-site promotional events for new and existing business clients.
