    We are seeking a full-time Sales and Operations Associate for our New York location. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing luxury jewelry startup.

    Ada Diamonds, venture-backed and based in San Francisco, is an online custom fine jeweler and the leading luxury retailer of lab diamonds.

    Our unique online Concierge model combines the ease, transparency, and flexibility of an online retailer with the high-touch, client-focused model of a private jeweler.

    We are searching for candidates with similar tenacity, grit, empathy, and appreciation for quality.#li-onsiteThe ideal candidate is:Exceptionally detail-orientedProud of the quality of their work, every single dayComfortable and not intimidated by working with millions of dollars of diamonds on a daily basisAble to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentHonest, professional, and someone of high integrityCustomer service oriented, friendly, gregarious, and personable Able to handle multiple workflows and processesOperates with a sense of urgency and can improvise and think on their feetWorks autonomously and proactively, managing their own pipeline As the Sales and Operations Associate, you will assist Ada's sales and production cycle including, but not limited to:Prepping for the sales teams appointmentsPreparing and maintaining that the showrooms are always client-readyAnswering phones and greeting customers at the front deskHandling pickups and drop-offs with clientsOrganizing and managing inventoryInspecting, videoing, and/or photographing diamonds & jewelryShipping loose diamonds & finished jewelryRunning errands based on the needs of the teamSupporting office and administrative needs

    Required Qualifications:
    New York City residentSome college or Bachelor's Degree requiredAt least 2 years of work experience in operations, sales support, or luxury goodsDetail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at onceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Gmail, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office products Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies and workflows

    Desired Qualifications:
    No jewelry background is required, but luxury or retail experience is preferredBasic photography experienceExperience with database technologies such as Excel and SalesforceExperience with communication technologies such as SlackLogistics & Compensation:Full-time roleBased out of Ada's NY location in midtown ManhattanTuesday - Saturday Some Saturday's off in exchange for a MondayTuesday - Friday approximate hours are 10am - 7pm with some flexibility, Saturday hours 10am - 6pmThis role requires in-person, hands-on time with diamonds and jewelry and is not a work-from-home role Competitive compensation including benefits No travel is required55k - 70k annual salaryDress code is sophisticated business casual
