    Position Title: Temporary Events and Community Support Specialist (6-month Long-Term Assignment)

    Location: Midtown Manhattan (Hybrid)

    Salary: $75,000 annually

    Overview: Our client is searching for a dynamic and innovative individual to provide operational support to their Events, Travel, and Community (ETC) team. This team plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm's culture, both internally and externally, through the organization of social and business events, administration of firmwide perks, and development of initiatives to foster employee connections. This six-month assignment offers an opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the team's activities actively, providing room for creative input and procedural enhancement within an inclusive and dynamic working environment.

    Responsibilities: As an ETC Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to support the planning, logistics, and execution of firmwide events, spanning both physical and virtual realms. This includes venue sourcing, invitation drafting, stakeholder coordination, and event attendance. Additionally, you will handle budgeting, vendor management, assist with project coordination, document processes, and perform other related duties.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor's degree is required, coupled with a minimum of two years of experience in event planning.
    • Candidates who thrive under pressure while maintaining a customer-centric approach are highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are advantageous, including effective collaboration across multiple business units.
    • Our firm values talent, curiosity, and motivation over specific academic backgrounds or prior experience in the finance industry.
    • Candidates should anticipate on-site presence in the office from Tuesday through Thursday, with occasional attendance on Monday and Friday. While most work will occur during standard business hours (9 AM to 5 PM), occasional evening commitments will be necessary.
