    Summary:

    The Systems Support Specialist is responsible for installing and supporting standard and nonstandard desktop hardware and software technology (PCs, printers, software, etc.). This position coordinates television studio operations, PC moves, new PC setups, software and hardware troubleshooting, IT related projects, and occasional afterhours technical support. The Systems Support Specialist will act as the sole onsite support for 20 local associates, and will assist with remote support for associates in other offices.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Receives and accurately records details of problems called into the Help Desk to include status and resolutions to problems.
    • Handles PC setups and configurations in a timely manner.
    • Installs desktop computer hardware and software including upgrades.
    • Provides support in the following areas: PC software applications, desktop hardware, audio-visual, network, and data communications; maintains skill level sufficient to provide such support.
    • Setup and coordination of audio-visual for small and large events in the office.
    • Troubleshoots standard and nonstandard desktop hardware problems and coordinates the repair with the users.
    • Handles support for all internal/remote users and ensures they have the proper hardware set up and functionality to do their jobs.
    • Communicates with other System Support Specialists and the Director of Systems Support regarding the status of projects; escalates any issues to the Team Leads and Director, if necessary.
    • Provides after-hours support & 24x7 coverage for both the helpdesk and computer operations teams when on call.
    • Vulnerability management
    • Performs related duties as assigned.
    Other Responsibilities (we will provide training)
    • Coordinates the operations within the television studio and responds to any issues.
    • Occasional operation of the batch processing system and promoting development code to production using supplied scritps.
    Qualifications:
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Experience working with and supporting executives.
    • 3+ years of PC troubleshooting experience.
    • A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred.
    For New York City Applicants only: The expected annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. The selected candidate salary is based on numerous factors such as, but not limited to work experience, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, skill level, and geographic location. This is the current estimate of the base salary range intended for this role at the time of this posting. The base salary range maybe be modified in the future. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
