    Are you a visionary and strategic Program Manager ready to build a comprehensive program management function for Marketing and Communications at Pinterest from the ground up? As the first Senior Lead, Marketing Program Manager, you'll oversee complex project implementation that aligns with our broader business goals, enhancing organizational performance.

    You'll ensure all vital milestones across all projects are achieved, meticulously managing resources and fine-tuning plans to ensure timely completion within budget. Poised for potential advancement to team leadership, you'll adopt a player-coach approach, directly handling projects, fostering team dynamics, and providing strategic guidance.

    What you'll do:

    • Develop and oversee a comprehensive program management function for Marketing and Communications initiatives at Pinterest, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align these initiatives with broader company objectives.
    • Regularly provide detailed updates to executive leadership on the status and performance of marketing projects; develop and implement critical timelines and milestones to ensure cohesive progress toward strategic goals.
    • Utilize extensive project management expertise to lead high-visibility, critical projects; maintain rigorous control over project scopes, timelines, and budgets, coordinating effectively across diverse teams.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, enhancing interdepartmental collaboration through continuous alignment and consistent, clear communication strategies.
    • Manage the entire lifecycle of marketing programs from initial ideation and research, through to strategic development, go-to-market strategy execution, and final market launch.
    • Serve as the central liaison for marketing, creative production, Product, and Product Marketing teams, ensuring a smooth flow of critical information regarding project priorities, resource allocation, timeline adjustments, and budgetary concerns.
    • Establish and maintain an effective operational cadence within the Marketing and Communications program management, setting clear project priorities, ensuring transparency in communications, and streamlining review processes for efficient stakeholder engagement.
    • Facilitate global collaboration by managing cultural and logistical nuances, adjusting content to meet diverse market demands, and aligning global teams to enhance decision-making and creative outcomes.
    • Develop and sustain streamlined, efficient operational processes for managing global marketing and communications programs at scale, continually adapting strategies to maximize effectiveness and ensure the overall success of programs across varied regions.
    • Effectively deliver and communicate comprehensive project metrics and deliverables, including detailed project plans, risk management strategies, progress reports, and project retrospectives, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed and projects meet their targeted objectives.

    What we're looking for:

    • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in strategic marketing program management and operations. Creative Operations a plus.
    • Strong leadership, diplomacy, and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
    • Proficiency in data analytics and strategic decision-making to optimize marketing strategies.
    • Deep understanding of the creative marketing process, strategy, and global multi-channel marketing campaigns.
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, provide problem-solving leadership, and set clear direction, to ensure efficient, high-quality execution of goals.
