General Summary:
Rafiki Coalition's mission is to eliminate health inequities in San Francisco's Black and marginalized communities through education, advocacy, and by providing holistic health and wellness services in a culturally affirming environment.
Summary:
Provide support for
Mental Wellness Administrator:
Including these key categories: (1) program delivery, (2) quality control and evaluation, and (3) team management and development. Manage operational planning, execution, and evaluation of specific projects/programs assigned by the Administrator, Mental Wellness. Manage Mental Wellness Staff.
Essential responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Project coordination; including collaborating with internal departments and external agencies to provide quality services
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that may arise
- Organize, facilitate or assist to secure facilitation of regular/ad hoc department meetings, workshops, mental health circles or series
- Lead events per department funding sources and projects (collaborating with other health care providers and CBO's)
- Attend internal case conferencing meetings weekly
- Attend other funding, collaborative CBO meetings as assigned to ensure information is brought back to the agency and Mental Wellness Administrator
- Assist with department budget planning as well as review budget spending and balances
- Keep direct supervisor updated on all activities or concerns within the department which may benefit and/or effect the balance of operations
- Manage Mental Wellness Navigator
Requirements:
- Bachelor's (or BS) degree Psychology, Public Health, Community Outreach or a related field, with 23 years of verifiable project coordination in a similar role and responsibilities
- Experience in clinical office management
- EHR and Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to create and/or interpret flowcharts, schedules and action plans
- Strong working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- High emotional IQ and cognitively flexibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently, be organized, and able to prioritize job responsibilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong client facing teamwork ability/skills
- Experience working with a diverse staff and constituencies
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Operate with the utmost degree of integrity and commitment to quality, sound judgment in a variety of situations
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, demonstrate time management, leadership and follow through on tasks and assignments with mínimal supervision
- Works from a framework of racial equity, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing when working with clients
- Culturally competent case management or related skills

$95, $115,000.00 per year
