Developed and implemented comprehensive quality control programs covering both roasted coffee and finished goods across a 1.25 million pounds per week production schedule.
• Managing the Coffee Quality lab executing roasted coffee sensory evaluation through training and surveying a staff of 20 roaster operators.
• Managing the Quality Assurance lab coordinating QC techs responsible for continuous finished product verification across three shifts.
• Leading regulatory and compliance programs including AIB and Costco food safety audits, Kosher, and organic certification.
• Working with co-manufacturing partners to maintain and verify
current specifications and develop new products.
• Leading and participating in continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and increase plant productivity.

Fostering a 25% year over year growth in sales since 2016 as the manager of specialty coffee production, generating upwards of $3.5M in revenue in 2019.

● Annually sourcing coffee for 20 seasonal SKUS in support of direct to customer, retail, wholesale, and CPG sales
● Contributing to product marketing while coordinating national multi-channel product launches.
● Managing production across 4 facilities located in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City staffed by 10 roaster operators.
