    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sr. Manager of Human Resources to join our rapidly growing start-up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background coming from either a start-up or small to medium-sized business and is adept at executing and scaling day-to-day HR operations. The Sr Manager of Human Resources will play a crucial role in managing employee relations, payroll, reviewing and implementing policies, reviewing policies ensuring human resource compliance, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to be a key player in a fast-paced and innovative fintech startup.

    Responsibilities
    • Handling day-to-day administration and technical HR operations, working closely with our Chief People Officer on overarching future strategic organization planning.
    • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and retention.
    • Manage our workforce management software Rippling that unifies HR, IT, and our Finance functions.
    • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
    • Solve routine and complex employee relations challenges, conflicts, or disputes in a fair and timely manner.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through effective employee relations initiatives and conflict resolution strategies.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and employee surveys.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • Must have 5-8 years of experience working as a HR Manager in a small to medium sized business supporting employment with out-of-state employees and sponsorship experience.
    • Must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher.
    • Experience in job sponsorship/H1-B sponsorship required.
    • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
    • Start-up experience is strongly preferred.
    • Fintech experience is strongly preferred.
    • Experience in scaling a start-up is highly desirable.
    • Experience in employing employees globally.
    • Experience with end-to-end implementation of HRIS or Payroll systems highly preferred.
    • Experience with Rippling preferred
    • Must be detail oriented and documentation oriented.
    Compensation

    The salary range for this position is $100k-$130k+ (depending on experience).
