    Summary

    COMPANY Sales Engineers are a vital part of our company, providing responsive, knowledgeable product information to our customers. In addition, they develop expertise in the COMPANY product line in order to identify and share best applications, techniques and solution to current and prospective customers. COMPANY Sales Engineers are reliable, detail oriented and are work well independently as well as with a team.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze and monitor markets/industry segments for trends and opportunities to develop the market for COMPANY products.
    • Develop sales strategies and action plans to penetrate market and achieve sales goals as well as identify and develop new customers.
    • Analyze data provided by the customer and issue technical quotes for COMPANY production systems and/or production lines that fulfill the customer requirements.
    • Provide technical support and know-how to customers and answer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
    • Negotiate offers, specific terms and conditions and clarify customer specifications with OEM sales, application and engineering department.
    • Maintain records of pricing, sales and activity reports for monthly and quarterly reviews.
    • Compile a yearly sales forecast and submit for approval.
    • Build positive relationships with customers and expand current customer base.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or other related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of machine sales experience.
    • Practical experience in turning, grinding, honing and skiving techniques beneficial.
    • Knowledge and experience in technical sales of complex machine tools on an international market with strong communication skills and sound judgment.
    • Experience in sales negotiations, project management and calculations.
    • Ability to work autonomously given fundamental priorities and responsibilities.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
    • Professional appearance and customer interaction.
    • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license.
