**Entertainment and Diplomatic Sales Manager**
**Position:** Entertainment and Diplomatic Sales Manager (Full time #
**Property / Office:** Mandarin Oriental, New York
**Location:** New York, NY, United States
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Attend selected trade and travel functions, i.e. trade shows, to promote sales and image for the hotel
Plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to major market areas and report new potential market areas that should be covered
Maintain close relationships with all key decision-makers both in local and international markets
Organize and accompany familiarization site inspection trips with top accounts
Regularly visit accounts and entertain clients at the hotel
Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales solicitation, telephone and written communications
Ensure up-to-date account information in Salesforce
Work closely with the MOHG Regional Sales Offices
Provide feedback and market information to Director of Sales changing market conditions, including trends on the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone, reading material and interaction with competitive hotel staff
Attend weekly Revenue, Sales and & GRC meetings
