The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the promotion and sale of our comprehensive range of Security systems and related services.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in sales leadership, business development, and client relationship management.

In addition, you will be directly responsible for managing the field activities and metrics of our Security Consultants.

Based in midtown Manhattan, the Field Sales Manager will assume responsibility for all aspects of DGA's Outside Sales Team. This leadership opportunity will be instrumental in impacting the direction and shaping the growth of our local business.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Coach and mentor the sales team
  • Participate in the development of the company's strategic plan
  • Maximize market penetration through appropriate utilization of resources
  • Ensure all territories are appropriately developed
  • Utilize field shadowing and weekly/monthly territory audits
  • Lead negotiations to successful closure by participating in key customer visits/sales calls
  • Manage and improve our systems of accountability, measurement and control
  • Ensure that all sales consultants meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
  • Set example for sales consultants in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
  • Conduct weekly/monthly coaching and counseling with sales consultants to build motivation and selling skills
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

Requirements:


Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing fire protection systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
