    This sales position is vital to the growth of new business opportunities within CST. Manages all aspects of market penetration, primarily through direct sales, regional sales managers and commissioned representative networks. Manage key customers in key markets and geographies for maximum profitability and growth which matches the company's strategic goals. Looking for candidates in the Ohio Valley region with experience selling services.

    Responsibilities - Expectations:

    Ongoing specific responsibilities and expectations include:

    • Manage all Service opportunities, from "cold/warm" calling prospects in existing database to coordinating sales follow-up with established sales team through order entry process.
    • Visit prospects facilities to perform preliminary asset analysis and planning.
    • Coordinate selling process between inspection team and existing sales team through
    • Establish and implement Services annual sales action plan.
    • Drive direct sales and establish oversight of rep network to achieve Services sales goals.
    • Develop influencer relationships with key Services customers at corporate and plant levels.
    • Coordinate Services activity with parts quoting process.
    • Develop and implement Service program with OEM's.
    • Develop relationship with 3rd party advocates (environmental consultants, other tank vendors, tank inspectors and consultants, other tank service providers).
    • Develop relationships and grow opportunity with fire protection vendors.
    • Sell Services Extended Service Program to existing customers.
    • Provide timely updates on competition.

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Construction or Engineering or related field
    • Willing to travel 50%+ of time, as needed
    • Five (5) Years of proven industrial service sales with direct customer accounts. Specifically requires experience selling aftermarket labor services and parts to Plant Engineers, Operations Managers, Maintenance Managers, or EH&S/Risk Assessment Personnel
    • Experience with identifying, generating, and closing on cold leads
    • Demonstrated leadership ability
    • Experience reporting to senior level management team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
    • Ability to work within a growth organization with progressive and evolving goals
    • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment
    • High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office, MS Excel. Familiarity and preferred efficiency with CRM management tools (Salesforce, SAP, etc.)

    Territories Covered: Ohio Valley Region - can be located in Cincinnati, Atlanta, Nashville or surrounding areas.

    The company maintains its headquarters in Kansas City, MO USA with divisional offices throughout the world. Preferably the position will be located at headquarters.

    This position will report to the VP – Global Sales with an indirect responsibility to the VP – Construction Services for CST Industries located in our Kansas City, MO USA headquarters.
