    Tasks and Responsibilities

    Underwriting and Due Diligence

    • Underwrite potential multifamily acquisitions by analyzing historical financial statements and performing market research and analysis.
    • Coordinate due diligence efforts with third parties and consultants. Review and analyze due diligence results and compare results to transaction underwriting.

    Investment Summaries and Reports

    • Create and prepare investment summaries and presentations.
    • Assist in preparation of quarterly reports and participate in the research, design and creation of new reports as needed.

    Asset Management

    • Assist with Asset Management reporting and ad hoc analysis

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled at a top tier MBA program
    • Prior business experience at a real estate investment firm, real estate brokerage firm, commercial mortgage banking firm, financial institution, or accounting firm, either through full-time work or internship(s) preferred. Candidates with strong backgrounds in other areas will also be considered.
    • Superior Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint skills are a must.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Familiarity with financial models that include complex financial and waterfall analysis.
    • Attention to detail and a desire to produce the highest quality work product.
    • Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex and diversified work-streams in a fast-paced environment.
    • A flexible team player who takes initiative and is dedicated, hard-working, resourceful, and has an ability to work in a collaborative environment.

    Compensation Range

    The hourly range for the role is $20 an hour.

    Objective

    The Asset Management Analyst will be part of a team and assist with overseeing all aspects of a multi-family portfolio on the East Coast.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Reviews various industry standard reports identifying trends and providing strategic recommendations to field Asset Managers.
    • Review and generate weekly, monthly and or quarterly reports monitoring performance via a host of available analytical tools, etc.
    • Assist with the development, analysis and successful execution of operating budgets, capital investment plans, leasing/marketing plans, cost control strategies, risk management strategies, and other significant operational items with the goal of increasing and maximizing value.
    • Assist with the management of various construction/rehab projects.
    • Assist with Due Diligence to support property acquisitions and/or dispositions.
    • Various other job duties that the Director of Asset Management may deem necessary for the portfolio.

    Abilities

    • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal.
    • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to take direction and follow-through.
    • Ability to apply best practices to facilitate successful completion of projects.
    • Sense of urgency, comfort with ambiguity, drive for results, and ability to remain true to the company's brand and image.
    • Proficient with spreadsheets and other business software such as Microsoft Excel & Word.

    Qualifications

    • Seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in Business and/or Real Estate
    • 1-4 years relevant experience; experience with multifamily real estate preferred but not required.
    • Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
    • Previous exposure in real estate analytics and business intelligence platforms preferred but not required.

    Compensation

    The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000.00 with the opportunity for a discretionary bonus at or around 20% of the base salary.
