    Position Summary:

    As the Sr Solutions Engineer, you will work with the Director of Solutions Architecture to support AEG Presents Touring, Festivals and Regional Venue Divisions in the development and use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to engage with our fans, grow existing and new revenue streams and innovate to create exceptional and personalized experiences. The role will be part of the team that solutions within the Marketing Cloud environment and be key to ensuring business critical initiatives are successful, by designing, testing, deploying and implementing solutions at an Enterprise level scale.

    Essential Functions:

    • Understand, develop and enhance out of the box and native Marketing Cloud features and functionality to support complex business needs.
    • Work with business stakeholders to develop and document functional and technical specifications and requirements to ensure that all development meets the needs of stakeholders
    • Work with the Solutions Architect and the Engineering teams to develop a robust SDLC process to ensure that all Marketing Cloud solutions are implemented, tested and iterated as needed to best practice standards.
    • Recommend best practices for the use of Marketing Cloud and support the implementation of these; leading to efficiencies, and reducing the overhead on Marketers.
    • Develop, implement and support Custom solutions (Activities) within the Marketing Cloud environment, where native functionality does not exist to support complex and innovative marketing requirements.
    • Design, develop and support the development of system and data integrations with other elements of the marketing technology ecosystem.
    • Participate in peer review and testing, including some QA of all code developed and deployed.
    • Work with project management teams to align on priorities and dependencies across different teams to ensure business priorities are met effectively.

    Required Qualifications:

    • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Computer Science or equivalent
    • 4-6 years Experience implementing solutions within the Marketing Cloud environment
    • Experience of working with CRM systems and relational databases in the context of B2C marketing
    • Extensive experience of configuration of Marketing Cloud features, including Content Builder, Contact Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Journey Builder (Interaction Studio/Customer 360 Audiences a plus)
    • Experience in a technical leadership or Product role.
    • Experience of working with APIs (SOAP, REST) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud SDKs
    • Understanding of Heroku and other Salesforce solutions, such as Mulesoft
    • Expert knowledge of HTML, AmpScript, CSS, Javascript/SSJS and SQL
    • Excellent documentation and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical team audiences

    Pay Scale: $101,301-$138,137
