    Solutions Engineer

    As a Solutions Engineer at UnitX, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of defect inspection automation solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.

    You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and technical experts, to analyze requirements, design solutions, and oversee the implementation of defect inspection projects.


    What You'll Do:

    Solution Design:
    Work closely with internal teams to understand customers' defect inspection needs and challenges. Build comprehensive automation solutions that encompass imaging and motion hardware, software, control systems, and integration components.


    POC:
    Leverage inhouse and external imaging systems to solve complicated visual inspection imaging challenges.

    Prototyping and Testing:
    Create prototypes and conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality and performance of solution proposals. Identify and resolve any technical issues or inefficiencies.

    Technical Documentation:
    Produce detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, wiring schematics, user manuals, and operating procedures.


    Who You Are:

    Engineering Background:
    Experience in factory automation, system integrators, production line design and assembly etc.
    Have basic knowledge of programming languages, preferably Python or C
    Industry Experience: 2+ years of hands on experience working on automation projects in manufacturing industry.

    Technical Skills:
    CAD, Optics, Electrical Systems, Control Systems

    Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective solutions for complex manufacturing processes.

    Communication:
    Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Hands-On Experience:
    Practical experience in implementing and troubleshooting manufacturing automation systems is highly valued.

    Compensation & Benefits
    $70,000 - $90,000 + equity
