    Description


    Vaco is working with a manufacturing company in the far West Valley seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team.

    The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

    This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of financial principles as well as an Active or Inactive CPA.


    Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting:
    Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Develop and manage the company's budgeting process, including forecasting revenue and expenses, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

    Financial Analysis:
    Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to management based on analysis findings.

    Internal Controls:
    Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

    Team Leadership:


    Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.


    Process Improvement:
    Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
    the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
    licensure and certification requirements;
    office location and other geographic considerations;

    With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

    The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
