Job Summary:


An Account Manager is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that the required data is obtained to successfully bid and win the project.

Account Managers also work with the Project Management teams to make sure projects go smoothly.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Create detailed stock length and fabricated cost proposals for customers based on construction contract documents, elevation take-offs, plans & specs, and stock length lists using software estimating tools and other estimating resources.


Assist project management with project start-up as well as pricing assistance throughout the project duration, including change orders and other pricing exercises as required.

Work with internal and external engineering resources to provide structurally reviewed quotes.


Provide consultation, coordination, and assistance to our customers, salesforce and internal personnel Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, correspondence, and other project specific information.

Build new customer relationships and help maintain our existing customers relationships.

Provide customer service to our existing customer base.


Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job.


Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:


  • To be considered for the Account Manager position, the following conditions are preferred but not required: _
Experience working in a team setting. Able to adapt to changing workloads and direction.


Ability to read, interpret, & understand architectural drawings and specifications and provide detailed take-offs and estimates that incorporate different building solutions.

Strong geometry & math skills Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects, phones, prioritize workload & work with mínimal supervision

Must be able to communicate effectively & maintain professional conduct; excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Autocad experience and skillset a plus but not required.

Good working knowledge of fabrication and installation in order to have good understanding of customer needs is helpful

Prior estimating knowledge a plus
