Join our client in the as a new Sales Executive.This role can work remotely in the US and is a direct placement opportunity.
For consideration you'll need to excel at creating and closing new opportunities in freight/shipping industry.
By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities for new customers.
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations to secure new business and contracts.
Revenue Growth and Performance Tracking:
Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to track progress against goals.
Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize revenue and profitability.
Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline development, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
In-depth knowledge of LTL and FTL transportation services, including pricing structures, regulations, and industry best practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
