- Meet or exceed sales and profitability plans for assigned categories at Home Depot.
- Develop and leverage a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics in each category online and brick & mortar (product, pricing, competitive, promotional, placement, etc) to inform business decisions.
- Assortment Management
- Identify and communicate actionable insights, at the cluster level where applicable, to inform assortment updates.
- Execute the assortment optimization plan by directing the onboarding of all new SKUs from the Retail and Wholesale assortment.
- Ensure in-stock SKUs are launched online at least 30 days prior to in-store launch.
- Ensure timely order entry and fulfillment of load-in orders for new product launches.
- Coordinate communication of credit memos related to product resets.
- Conduct post reset audits to ensure set integrity and/or identify common issues.
- Track new product performance vs. target.
- Analyze promotional performance to identify trends in cannibalization and lift at the SKU and portfolio level.
- Merchandising
- Maintain and track performance of Kohler virtual bundles on to identify opportunities for expansion and increased Average Unit Retail (AUR).
- Audit Ratings and Reviews to identify common themes, remove invalid reviews, and merge reviews where applicable during transitions.
- Manage the execution of SEEDs review program ensuring new products are enrolled and product is delivered according to requirements.
- Pricing and Promotions
- Submit all promotional submission templates.
- Submit all weekly and ad hoc cost change forms.
- Inventory Management
- Analyze Home Depot inventory and POS data to proactively identify challenges and inform collaborative forecast.
- Coordinate all inventory balancing returns and buybacks.
- Own SKU maintenance including MVEN alignment to the appropriate ship points and communication of discontinued items.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of five years of retail sales experience.
