**Summary:**
The Sales Manager is responsible for Onboarding new Sales Reps, providing sales, (product) technical support, training on sales policies and resources for the ADS Security sales team, riding with reps in the field, and supporting the branch General Manager(s) and working to increase overall sales success. Additionally, the Sales Manager will be called on to help recruit new sales team members as well as leading regularly scheduled sales meetings and sales focused events (trade shows, call nights, sales blitzes, etc.).
This position will be located in Nashville.
**Essential Job Duties:**
Trains and transitions new Sales Consultants into the sales team
Recruits sales team members
Tracks and analyzes sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
Coaches Sales Consultants on maintaining their quotas
Prospects new customers
Leads weekly sales team meetings
Field training and ride alongs
Preparing sales budgets, projections and approving expenditures
**Other Duties:**
Performs other duties as requested
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:**
Knowledge of all company offered products and services

Stays up to date on all company offered products and services

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Possess a valid drivers license
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience in managing, educating and motivating a team of sales consultants for the defined market segment
Familiarity with the geography and census data (i.e. growth areas, crime statistics, etc.) for the identified area
Security industry experience
History of prior sales success-preferably selling to both residential and commercial clients
Technical understanding of alarms, access and surveillance systems to aid in client interface as it pertains to the defined market segment
**Physical Demands:**
Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed
Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
Ability to sit/stand at workstation for extended periods of time
Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
