    Description
    InGenesis is currently seeking a Computer Support Specialist to work with our client in New York, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Department of Financial Services.

    Apply today and we'll reach out to answer any questions you may have Job Duties · Conduct and coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and management · Work with Stakeholders to improve Data Classification and Data loss prevention tasks · Conduct and/or evaluate Governance and Risk compliance tasks · Test and evaluate new technology · Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents · Work with IT to improve security measures Preferred Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field · At least 5 years' experience within Information Security/Cyber Security or related field · Knowledge of Information Security Frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001 · Knowledge of 23 NYCRR Part 500 · Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management · Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques · Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts · Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them · Experienced with penetration testing and techniques is a plus · Excellent written and oral communication skills *Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
