    As we embark on our next phase of growth, we're seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts across the Midwest region. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a deep understanding of the industrial landscape within the Midwest. With your expertise and passion for innovation, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in alignment with our organizational goals.

    We are looking for candidates who are located in the Midwest area. Region that this Sales Manager will support includes states of Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Tennessee.

    As a Regional Sales Manager, your daily tasks will include:

    • Overseeing the Midwest territory in the United States, driving sales of Norit products to achieve targeted revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from the customer base,
    • Developing and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned territory. Establish and maintain processes for accurate budgeting and forecasting,
    • Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with distributors, customers, and key stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster loyalty to the Norit brand,
    • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and prospects through comprehensive market research and analysis, staying abreast of industry trends and customer needs,
    • Negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms with customers to optimize profitability while prioritizing customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships,
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities, always maintaining integrity and professionalism,
    • Effectively communicating and negotiating complex sales contracts with customers, educating them on new products, enhancements, and articulating the benefits and features of Norit solutions,
    • Consistently utilize Salesforce CRM and maintain up to date "living documents".

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales (preferably chemical sales), with a demonstrated track record of success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets,
    • Technical degree in a field such as chemistry, biology, or engineering, is preferred but not mandatory,
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers to execute Norit's strategic goals is crucial,
    • Possesses an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends, using insights to inform strategic decision-making,
    • Demonstrates a self-motivated and results-driven approach, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and achieving objectives,
    • Ability to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally as required to meet business needs,
    • Familiarity with the market dynamics, customers, and competitors within the Northern-Central region is preferred,
    • Understanding of the markets and applications in which Norit's products add value, with the ability to effectively communicate and capture that value,
    • Takes ownership and responsibility for achieving desired results, demonstrating strong planning, organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring skills to ensure the attainment of business objectives.
