Summary of Responsibilities:

Processes orders for products received via email, fax, or EDI, as well as the related returns, special pricing, account adjustments, inquiries, and complaints, by performing the following duties.

Duties:

Processes orders in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System for product, literature and samples received via email or fax, along with the related issues, communications, and paperwork.
Responds to phone and email inquiries related to purchasing products, locating distributors, price & availability, and the status of purchase orders and shipments.
Addresses customer complaints by recording complaints, investigating issues, determining corrective actions, and insuring proper follow-up by various departments.
Confers with Production, Sales, Shipping, Warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Manages returns of product by issuing Return Authorizations and processing the Returns to affect inventory and credit the customer.
Coordinates with Accounting Dept and Sales Force to process credit-backs and other account adjustments, and to set up new distributor accounts.
Acts as liaison between various departments, as well as between STI and outside entities, such as customers and Rep companies.
Manages our Quote System and disseminates pricing documents.
Cooperates with Marketing and other departments to implement price adjustments.
Processes orders for products received via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) along with the related ASNs, communications with EDI partners, and support in maintaining our EDI system.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
1 + years' experience in comparable role
Basic computer skills, including MS Office
Salesforce preferred but not required
Attention to detail along with strong multi-tasking skills
Superior communication skills, listening, verbal and writing and desire to work as part of a team
Sense of urgency in all matters
