    Description

    Senior Associate, Workforce Tax (Multiple Positions), Galaxy US Opco Inc. d/b/a Vialto Partners, Boston, MA. Assist clients to develop effective tax minimization strategies by calculating cost projections through myMobility/Tiger calculator. Perform complex tax research to assist clients with due diligence memos, consulting projects covering over 50 countries globally, and developing tax planning opportunities and strategies. Utilize myMobility/Tiger to share tax returns and deliverables and prepare summary reports reflecting real time status of tax return work records and consulting projects. Monitor tax return and tax equalization calculation work records. Conduct research and analysis into the nature of a client's business to verify data collected. Provide global clients with tax services related to foreign tax law, social security advisory services, employment, tax and payroll related consultancy as well as advice with respect to compensation, benefits, tax equalization policy design and due diligence reviews relative to global mobility.

    40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, International Business, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

    In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, International Business, or a related field, plus 1 year of related work experience.

    Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

    Conducting research to provide advice that covers the foreign country tax authority regulations, foreign country tax laws, tax relief provisions, taxability of certain compensation benefits, tax relief provisions and business travelers, and other global mobility topics;

    Documenting and evaluating key financial cycle processes and deadlines for clients;

    Conducting tax cost projections for clients to enable them to evaluate the cost of the assignment;

    Preparing estimated and actual taxes, identifying tax gross-ups as part of the review and analysis of foreign tax returns; and

    Utilizing ITRS to prepare estimated and actual taxes as well as identify tax gross-ups as part of the review and analysis of foreign tax returns for clients.

    100% telecommuting permitted.

    Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% is required.
