I am an experienced preclinical development leader with over 15 years of expertise in Biotech. I have worked on a variety of indications including immune-oncology, oncology, autoimmunity, inflammation, and hemostasis. I am passionate about growth and have taken up roles of progressing responsibility. As a project leader, I am diligent and innovative, with experience managing multiple diverse projects simultaneously. My expertise includes target identification/validation, mechanism of action studies, and IND enabling studies design. I possess a wide range of technical skills, including flow cytometry, complex cell-based assay development, gene editing, and in vivo disease models. Experience

  • Over 15 years of biotech experience developing novel therapies for broad indications; immuno-oncology, hemostasis, autoimmune, oncology, and inflammatory diseases.
  • Ten-plus years managing, engaging, and developing scientific teams across interdisciplinary groups and scientific levels (Associate Directors, Ph.D. scientists, and junior scientists).
  • In vitro and in vivo pharmacology experience to evaluate novel target discovery to examine biological mechanisms of multiple modalities leading to the generation of preclinical IND data packages.
  • Led scientific teams to develop assays for the mechanism of action, PD assays, and efficacy endpoints.
  • Participated in developing program and department budgets; managed and prioritized research activities and timelines to stay within budget.
  • Represented programs internally to Senior Leadership; Represented the company externally and internationally at scientific conferences.
  • Developed and managed successful collaborations with external companies, CROs, and academic institutions.
  • Participated in pre-IND meetings with the FDA, and prepared responses to FDA feedback by authoring and reviewing technical and study reports.
