    Description

    Reporting to the respective region Director of Sales, Beverage, the Market Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing relationships and sales with retail and distributor partnerships within their assigned territory.

    MINIIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Market Manager/Distributor management or related experience in the beverage industry
    • Track record of successful distributor management, retail execution efforts, and customer management

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate with teammates and/or DSD network for optimal alignment, retail execution, and performance of products
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and apply best practices
    • Manage/work with/build a strong rapport with distributors and retailers
    • Actively pursue business development and sales within an area of responsibility
    • Develop retail strategies to support optimal performance
    • Develop distributor strategies to support optimal performance
    • Keep all parties informed on market dynamics and competitive activities
    • Manage introduction/inventory of products specific to retailer/distributors
    • Calling on and managing smaller local/regional chains
    • Other duties or travel as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Market Management experience in the C-Store/Grocery channel
    • Experience working with DSD/distributors preferred
    • Impactful listening, speaking, writing and selling skills
    • Ability to communicate with all stakeholders professionally and efficiently both verbally and in written form
    • Knowledge of the beverage sales cycle
    • Excellent prioritization and organization skills
    • Experience with VIP reporting
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs
    • Highly effective in independent-work roles
    • Energized by others, collaborative
    • Strong analytical and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Nielsen/IRI software)
    • Approximately 50% travel based on home location
