THE COMPANY
Our client is a top 20 global logistics provider offering a range of Supply Chain solutions across the globe. They are looking to expand their sales team in Houston, TX to drive revenue growth. They posses a real grasp on the importance of a good working culture whilst remaining very professional and consultative to customers within the industry and having a corporate and professional approach to sales into the market.
THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join as a Sales Manager. The role would see the right candidate efficiently generate their own new leads through keeping up to date with potential customers on their current logistics solutions whilst also setting up meeting with potential customers and discussing/negotiating solutions for them. They need to also be the key point of contact when on boarding new customers into the business and conduct themselves professionally whilst giving a great client service.
THE PERSON
The right candidate will ideally be someone with industry experience selling freight solutions within international Air & Ocean to customers, preferrable in the Oil + Gas market. They need to be organised and keep their portfolio of business up to date whilst also generating pipeline with new potential customers that they can bring in and bolster their portfolio with. They should also possess a great level of customer care and be able to handle customer enquiries efficiently.
- 3-10 years of Logistics sales experience
- Good understanding of the Oil + Gas industry
- Ability to generate leads in the industry and act upon them
- Ability to effectively and pro actively solve any customer issues
