National Director of SalesEMR/EHR SaaS Sales

A venture-backed Digital Health start-up operating in the Acute Care space space is looking for a National Sales & Strategy Director to join their exciting growth journey This start-up received a sizeable cash injection and are now looking to scale up their sales function by adding another high performing, world class sales leader to lead the inside and outside sales team as well as strategy from conceptualization to execution.
The company are already generating a significant amount of revenue from a number of exciting products, and are looking to partner with more hospitals and health systems across the country.
If you have experience leading teams that sell digital health solutions into hospitals and are passionate about improving patient outcomes and reducing the strain on clinicians, then this is the role for youThis position has 2 key responsibilities: leading the team and leading the sales strategy.
Leading the team requires owning and refining the sales process: implementing tools for efficient sales enablement, taking a heavy data-driven approach to analyze core metrics and where rates can be improved, refining pitch decks and more.
Leading the strategy requires you to take into account the wider organization and the direction they are going in which includes understanding the target market and niches, identifying ideal client profiles, budget allocation i.e.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 10 direct reports (with expectation to grow) of inside and outside sales people
Upsell existing accounts on new products, service lines and additional locations
Identifies key new business opportunities and/or a defined list of potential clients with a focus on hospitals across the nation
Establish and leverage relationships with prospective client's C-level influencers and decision makers
Develops and executes individualized sales plans focused on business impact and competitive differentiation
Participates in communicating and educating client staff on company products and solutions including business impact, comparative benefits, and best practice deployment and use
Provides guidance to internal stakeholders on developing products based on client feedback and competitors to enhance value creation
Requirements:
10+ years of Healthcare IT/SaaS Sales into Hospitals (health systems and ACOs is a plus), 5 years in a direct leadership capacity
Proven track record leading successful inside and outside sales teams
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new products and services
Experience selling a digital health solution, ideally patient engagement software
Research, process and data-driven analytical thinker
Bonus:
