Job Description
Job DescriptionThe WHDH/WLVI Digital Sales Specialist will generate new and service existing local accounts, ensuring all digital financial goals of TV station are being exceeded, while developing and maintaining relationships with agencies and clients in the digital, OTT, and mobile space.
This role will collaborate and communicate with sales management, news, and marketing teams. The ability to identify the needs of advertisers and prepare and present custom sales presentations is necessary. As the company's digital expert, you will stay on top of the constant change and growth this industry experiences.Responsibilities include:
Developing and creating new programs to maximize revenue from existing clients. Continual development of new business revenue streams. Maintaining and improving programmatic partnerships.
Maintaining a customer friendly attitude and dedication to customer needs and being prepared with all information needed so that sales management can make sound and informed business decisions.
All other duties as assigned.A Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing or equivalent related experience is required. Prior digital sales experience is a requirement as is experience with "Google Ad Manager and Google Analytics". Experience using "Brightcove" and "Newscycle" are a plus. Requires analytical and technical skills to analyze specific sales situations. Must demonstrate the effective recognition, oral and written communication skills to influence external contacts. Prior radio or television background preferred, but not necessary. This position requires candidate to work 100% on site in our Boston office. WHDH is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
