    Job Description

    The Clinical Laboratory Sales Specialist (Account Manager III) will be responsible for growing revenue through new business and managing the New England Territory. The product line responsibility includes Toxicology (Drugs of Abuse products), Capital Equipment, MAS Clinical Chemistry Controls, AcroMetrix Molecular Controls, ISD/TDM's product lines, and BioMarkers. This role focuses on the delivery of customer support and satisfaction while managing the assigned territory as a business for profit and revenue growth.

    Summary of essential job functions

    • Directly sell the company's products into a specified geographic area and manage all stages of the sales cycle.
    • Utilize Professional, Consultative, and Strategic Selling skills to develop business in existing accounts and develop new accounts through cold calls.
    • Create business plans for major accounts, monitor progress, and work effectively with distribution channels.
    • Establish customer pricing, provide quotations, assist in preparing bid documents, and maintain positive relationships with business unit personnel.
    • Forecast and project sales from new and existing customers, attend trade shows, and manage customer account base using SFDC CRM.
    • Interact with various departments within the company for feedback and collaboration.

    Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or related sales experience preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of successful field sales experience, ideally in the laboratory diagnostic market or hospital space.
    • Experience with GPO's and Hospital Supply Chain desired.
    • Demonstrated negotiation skills, cross-functional teamwork, and ability to work independently.
    • Proficiency in SalesForce.com, MS Office programs, and willingness to travel up to 50%-75% of the time.
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented skills.

    Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria

    • Ability to travel without limitation.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for group presentations and customer interactions.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license.
