    WHO YOU ARE

    A true people person, you specialize and excel at creating well-organized, distinct, and effortless guest experiences for corporate clients. Your guests and meeting planners in particular - trust you to take great care of every detail in order for them to worry less about their events. Cultivating these relationships comes naturally, and you are always thinking about future business. You are motivated by meeting and exceeding sales goals and you take great pride in working as a team to achieve collective goals. You have a four-year college degree or equivalent education or experience, with one to two years' employment in hotel sales. You have an advanced knowledge of sales and hospitality principles and practices and excellent verbal and written English communications skills.

    WHAT YOU DO

    You understand the competitive landscape and do what it takes to secure business that meets or exceeds revenue expectations and profit goals. You solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat clients using multiple channels, such as social media, outside calls, and telemarketing. By capturing the client's vision and effectively conveying the specifications to appropriate departments, you are able to rapidly respond to inquiries, concerns, and issues, ensuring an exceptional client experience and seeding future sales. You build meaningful and lasting relationships with your customers, continually innovating to expand your reach with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts, tapping into community organizations and the media to elevate the hotel's market share and drive additional business. You maintain accurate, legible records and files to provide group history, ensure future and current quality service and enhance future prospects.
