    About Your Role

    Execute game-changing advertising strategies and manage campaigns that tie engagement to the bottom line.


    We're looking for a freelance-to-perm Senior Media Buyer & Strategist who will lead the execution of digital paid advertising campaigns across clients, with a particular focus on digital e-commerce brands and objectives from ad recall to traffic to conversion.

    This may be the right role for you if you're someone who is equally strategic, creative, and analytical.

    Switching seamlessly from a client presentation, to writing an insightful analysis of campaign performance, and rolling up your sleeves to launch new creative and optimize a PPC campaign are no big deal for you.

    You're used to spending most of your day speaking in acronyms — terms like CPA, ROAS, SQR, DSP and CTV are major parts of your vocabulary — and you know how to explain them to clients and colleagues.


    You will use your depth of paid media experience to inform your work but also tap into your digital curiosity and passion for innovation to bring new ideas and thinking to the team.

    This position is freelance-to-permanent, starting as remote with a future hybrid in-office schedule. Willingness to work east coast hours is a must. Check out our website

    Responsibilities:
    Build, manage, and optimize media campaigns across multiple platforms.

    You will have strong experience in paid social and paid search channels, and a relative understanding of programmatic DSPs.
    Translate clients' strategic visions into media objectives and KPIs

    to accomplish a wide range of client objectives including direct response awareness, persuasion, and advocacy. Strong experience in e-commerce conversion and social platform ads managers (think TikTok and Meta) is a must.
    Analyze ongoing and historical performance data

    to identify opportunities for improvement, make strategic recommendations, and generate reporting and insights to drive optimization.
    Have a strong POV on measurement, attribution, and conversion tracking,

    and apply that knowledge to strategic recommendations and ongoing campaign management.

    Ability to assess and work through user journeys and understand tagging needs is essential (we're talking GTM and GA4 knowledge, specifically).

    Participate in (and frequently lead) client-facing interactions

    — you'll be the subject-matter expert for the platforms you manage, running through reporting, and providing POVs in collaboration with SocialQ's delivery and strategy teams.
    Work collaboratively with other internal or external teams,

    including strategy, content, and delivery, to produce campaigns, creative ideas, audience and target recommendations, and experimental designs.
    Be an internal and external thought leader and help keep us up to date with the latest digital media trends


    by maintaining relationships with media partners such as agency reps, and keeping a pulse on the latest platform updates and offerings.

    Offer up creative recommendations


    based on platform and channel best practices, trends, and what you're seeing in the market - helping strategy and delivery and content teams to finalize and perfect briefs for a variety of initiatives.

    What
    You Bring To The Table:

    5-7 years experience in a hands-on paid media buying role using a mix of digital channels (Primary: Search, Display, Social, Video; Secondary: Native, OTT/CTV, Programmatic)

    Demonstrated experience translating client business goals into cohesive media strategies and specific KPIs, and a record executing campaigns that delivered on those goals.

    Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and projects on time, within budget, and meet performance goals.
    High proficiency with digital advertising platforms — you've demonstrated a level of mastery of paid social, paid search, and/or programmatic trading — as well as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other measurement platforms
