    Job Title: Administrative Assistant

    Employment Type: Contract

    Work Hours: 40 hrs./week

    Work site: Hybrid

    Location:28 Liberty Street New York, NY 10005

    Job Duration: 6 Months

    Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma


  • Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience.


  • Job Duties:

  • Perform routine processing activities, including review and assist with intake complaint forms received by LEMIO through the portal and otherwise, including correspondence with covered agencies and other government actors.
  • Assist in gathering or compiling data for reports or other LEMIO reporting systems.
  • Coordinate arrangements for meetings/trainings and gatherings, arrange rooms, and insure equipment availability.
  • Perform keyboarding, data entry, and various other tasks involving typing into computerized systems.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records and files.
  • Order supplies, help with on boarding of new hires, Interns, schedule meetings, etc.


  • Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe.
  • Ability to learn LEMIO's internal systems.


  • Misc. Information:

  • Shift Timing: Must start work between 7:30 am and 9:15 am.
  • Role Type: Hybrid (upon request); Onsite either Monday to Wednesday or Tuesday to Thursday.
  • No free parking available at the worksite location.
  • Office is accessible by 2, 3, 4, 5 (Wall St) J and Z (Broad St) subway lines.
  • Interview Process: Virtual followed by in-person.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
