    Description

    Position:Accounting Manager

    Location:Phoenix, AZ (West Valley)

    Work Environment:On-site

    Compensation:$90K-$110K base salary DOE

    Vaco is currently partnering with a well-known manufacturing organization located in the West Valley in their search for an Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on management position and will report directly to the Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, a CPA license and the ability to work on-site.

    Qualifications:

    • BS/BA in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or similar field required
    • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience required
    • CPA (active or inactive) preferred
    • Manufacturing experience preferred
    • SAP experience preferred

    Role Duties:

    • Prepare journal entries and accruals
    • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting duties
    • Reconcile vendor statements, review bank activity and reconcile to the general ledger
    • Oversee and manage A/R duties
    • Support external income tax return filing
