    Job Description Safety and Training Coordinator $19.00-$25.00Chicago, IL1st Shift Part-timeAs a safety and training coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing safety and emergency programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, State, and Federal safety regulations. Additionally, the Safety Trainer will develop and implement safety guidelines, conduct inspections, and collaborate with HR to enhance safety practices and mitigate risks.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Write safety programs and training materials.
    • Train all staff on safety guidelines and rules.
    • Research and enforce all OSHA, State, and Federal safety and emergency laws, guidelines, and rules.
    • Mitigate and evaluate risks throughout the production floor and on site.
    • Conduct frequent job analyses and safety audits.
    • Responsible for reporting and recordkeeping regarding incidents, updated policies, equipment repairs, data research, and employee complaints.
    Qualifications:
    • 2-5 years of experience in Safety, Training, or HR preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Aptitude and analytical skills.
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
