    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Legal Systems Training Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the technological proficiency of our legal professionals and support staff. This position will focus on a range of software including, but not limited, to Outlook, NetDocs, Microsoft Office Suite, Practice Link, and IPDAS. The Legal Systems Training Coordinator will teach the functionalities of these programs and identify knowledge gaps among professionals while tailoring training sessions to address these deficiencies.

    SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
    • Train new and existing employees in the use of systems such as IPDAS, NetDocs, and PracticeLink, Rippe Time Billing software, etc.
    • Develop and implement content creation, curriculum planning, and skill development of firm employees.
    • Develop, maintain, and distribute reference and training materials.
    • Measure the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve the quality of trainings.
    • Deliver training both virtually and in-person with various e-learning tools and technology platforms (e.g., MGLC).
    • Research and implement various staff professional development trainings.
    • Create and maintain user training, performance, and compliance checklists.
    • Respond to and address user questions and training requests.
    • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to professionals who require additional training assistance.
    • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure consistency in software usage and troubleshooting.
    • Keep appraised of all new software developments and coordinate user implementation.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and technological proficiency within the firm.
    • Project management related to system upgrades, new software implementations, creating testing environments, and training to competency on processes and systems.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Minimum 3-years IP prosecution experience; preferably in a law firm.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    • Superior attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and strong organizational skills
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals in all levels of the firm
    • Ability to adapt teaching styles and methods to meet the audience
    • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy/low percentage of errors
    • Ability to adapt and accept changes in job responsibilities based on the strategic goals of the firm
    • Ability to exhibit sound judgment, maintain confidentiality and use discretion
    • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor that effectively represents the firm
    • Ability to show initiative and accept accountability for projects
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines
    • Available to work before or after normal working hours as necessary in order to meet the demands of the job and needs of the firm
