    State Sales Manager - Fast-Paced Transactional Sales Environment

    Location: San Francisco, CA

    Are you a dynamic Sales Manager with a passion for driving growth and leading high-achieving sales teams? Our client, a leader in legal tech solutions, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to expand our market share and sales team across California. If you're a strategic thinker with a proven track record in fast-paced transactional style B2B sales, we want to hear from you

    Responsibilities:

    • Own and deliver the overall sales target for the business.
    • Actively support, mentor, and develop the Sales Team into high achievers.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to create and execute sales strategies.
    • Manage key opportunities alongside sales representatives.
    • Conduct weekly sales meetings to forecast and assess team performance.
    • Oversee sales expenditure budgets and ensure alignment with marketing for maximum ROI.
    • Minimize client churn to under 10% per annum and manage client retention programs.
    • Handle partner relationships to maximize business opportunities.
    • Resolve escalations efficiently and ensure sound resolutions.
    • Establish sales objectives through forecasting, process development, and accurate reporting.

    Job Specifications:

    Education and Experience:

    • 5+ years' experience in B2B sales.
    • 3+ years' experience in sales operations.
    • Proven record as a successful Sales Manager with a passion for selling.
    • Experience in scaling sales teams and B2B selling, preferably fast-paced, short sales cycle environments.
    • legal tech and/or software experience would be highly regarded.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Client-focused with a commitment to satisfaction and growth.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
    • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in complex decision-making.
    • Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
