    Job Description and Duties


    The Office of Human Rights (OHR) has an opportunity for a highly motivated professional seeking a position that functions as the Department of State Hospitals OHR Analyst.

    This individual must have excellent customer service and organizational skills and be able to work independently and in a team environment.

    Typical responsibilities include assisting with the development of EEO policies, procedures, and forms; assisting in developing and maintaining OHR training and procedures manuals; preparing the department's Annual Workforce Analysis (WFA) and monitoring WFA action plans, processing requests for Reasonable Accommodations and Religious Accommodations, and providing office/clerical support for OHR.

    Willing to consider a/an Associate Governmental Program Analyst. Duties will reflect the appropriate position candidate is hired into.

    Working Conditions


    • DSH-Sacramento is located at a new 11 floor high rise building.
    • A majority of the essential functions of this position may be performed via telework and/or flexible scheduling. Consistent with Policy Directive 5338, telework may be considered with prior approval from management. Although the ability to telework may be granted, incumbent must be available to report two days per week minimum to the DSH Allenby building and attend in-person mandated trainings and essential meetings.

    The mission of the Department of State Hospitals is to provide evaluation and treatment in a safe and responsible manner, seeking innovation and excellence in hospital operations, across a continuum of care and settings.

    DSH-Sacramento has moved into a modern, sustainable and innovative office building located at 1215 "O" Street, Sacramento, California.
