    YOU

    As a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) - Residential, you will be in charge of expanding Residential sales in your assigned territory, which includes New York City, Long Island, and New Haven. Your role involves collaborating with the team to grow our business profitably. You will oversee sales of Simpson product lines, tailor strategies based on customer needs, competition, and market potential, and contribute to the business strategy in your area.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)

    • Drive demand and boost sales of all Simpson product lines in the defined marketplace; including conducting sales calls, giving presentations, and providing training. (55%)
    • Coach, train, and manage the development of Dealer Sales Representatives. (15%)
    • Establish and maintain key relationships with customers and supply chain partners. (10%)
    • Promote Simpson Strong-Tie as an industry partner and employer. (10%)
    • Handle various other responsibilities such as CRM management, business planning, and vehicle maintenance. (10%)

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 3-5 years of industry experience. Sales and account management experience preferred.
    • 2-3 years of management experience.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    While performing the role, you may be required to stand, walk, sit, and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This job operates in a professional office environment, customer sites, and outdoor construction job sites. Noise levels may be loud at times.

    TRAVEL REQUIRED

    This position involves up to 25% domestic travel.

    WORK STATUS & LOCATION

    This full-time position is primarily based in Long Island, New York City, and New Haven.

    RELOCATION

    Relocation is an option for this role.

    PAY

    $100,300 - $143,300 per year (based on national average).
