    Sales Support Specialist (Design Industry /onsite; $50-55k)

    Location:
    New York, NY - in office

    Salary:
    $50,000 - $55,000 + Benefits

    Sales Support Specialist Description


    Our client, a leading textile manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support professional to join their team in New York, NY.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that serves top global and regional retailers and offers tremendous growth potential.

    In this role, you will support the Executive Sales Manager, enhancing the efficiency and success of the sales team. Your key responsibilities will include data entry, note-taking, order management, and providing vital sales support. The ideal candidate will have experience in an account support role and be comfortable working in Excel. The ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail is crucial for success.

    Sales Support Specialist Responsibilities


    • Collaborate closely with the Executive Sales Manager, supporting multiple accounts
    • Create and fill out order forms in the PLM system
    • Assist with note taking during sales meetings and follow ups
    • Ship order samples to buyers
    • Coordinate with the Product Development team on buyer feedback
    • Assist with the order life cycle process
    • Manage PLM software and customer portals efficiently
    • Review purchase orders for accuracy in dates, units, and prices
    • Track orders for all accounts using Excel master sheets
    • Maintain internal and external communications

    Sales Support Specialist Qualifications


    • 2+ years of account support experience required
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
    • Ability to work in the office is required
