    Job Description


    Job Description Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Health Program Analyst II to support the Ending of the HIV Epidemic (EHE) project in the Los Angeles County area.

    The Health program analyst II will manage the overall programmatic response and coordination for strategies related to diagnosing HIV, treating people rapidly and effectively, preventing new HIV transmissions, and responding to HIV outbreaks.

    Supervises coordination and identification of best practices for the promotion, outreach, and delivery of HIV prevention and treatment services to the Los Angeles County community and coordinates the planning, implementing, administering, and evaluating of public health
    programs.

    The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through October 31, 2025.

    Pay Rate-$7,624.00 per month

    Shifts:
    Hybrid (2-3 days in office) with Onsite location at 600 S Commonwealth Ave 10th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90005

    Minimum Qualifications:


    A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to Public Health, Community Health Education, Behavioral Science or Social Sciences.


    AND
    Four years of experience in public health programs or a related field, one year of which must include participation in
    the planning, implementing, administering, and evaluating of public health programs.

    OR - A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health, social work, epidemiology, public health policy, public health or communicable disease control may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

    Valid California drivers license, proof of vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or ability to secure timely transportation for off-site travel to various community sites throughout Los Angeles County


    Desirable Qualifications:


    A Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to the core business function of the department, such as Public Health, Community Health Education, Behavioral Science or Social Sciences.

    Experience working in HIV/AIDS programs, syringe services programs, substance use disorder programs, safety net mental health programs, and/or sexually transmitted diseases (STD) programs.

    Additional experience beyond these requirements.
