Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will conduct research of the most complex appeals of public assistance programs in the General Jurisdiction Bureau:

  • Research the most complex expedited hearing requests, postponement requests, and reopening requests in the Appeals Case Management System (ACMS). Independently research case files to identify the issue and determine the appropriate outcome. Communicate with Program and County to verify case information. Follow up with claimants to provide additional information for validation of request. Research the most complex withdrawal requests in ACMS. Independently research the electronic case file including recordings to validate withdrawals. Communicate with Program and County to verify case information. Follow up with claimants to provide additional information for validation of request. Create letters confirming or unconfirmed withdrawals. Independently review and analyze the most complex dismissal and bifurcation requests according to Division 22 Regulations. Independently research case files to identify the issue and determine the appropriate outcome. Communicate with Program and County to verify case information. Follow up with claimants to provide additional information for validation of request. Prepare letters to the appropriate agency, claimant, and authorized representatives. Responsible for typing and preparing sensitive and confidential material. Review hearing decisions to ensure proper formatting, grammar, and consistency with Departmental policies. Timely release decisions and ensure finalized decisions are properly uploaded and mailed to the claimants. Responsible for downloading and uploading documents into our Appeals Case Management System (ACMS).
