Metropolitan State Hospital is located in the city of Norwalk.


The position will function in a wide range of activities, including coordinating Joint Commission surveys; preparation of complex documents for regulatory and accreditation agencies such as California Department of Public Health, and Joint Commission; compiling performance improvement data, analyzing aggregate hospital data and making presentations on behalf of Standards Compliance.

Computer knowledge, writing ability and verbal presentation skills are essential.

The position requires excellent attendance, strong analytical skills, good communication skills and must be able to work effectively with others.

The incumbent will be responsible for performing research, analyses, development, and implementation of data trending and tracking, various and complex technical analytical assignments.

Opened in 1916, DSH-Metropolitan State Hospital is in the vibrant community of Norwalk,15 miles east of Los Angeles.

To the south are entertainment venues like Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, the marinas and beaches of Huntington, Newport and Laguna.

To the west are Palos Verdes and Marina Del Rey.

DSH-Metropolitan State Hospital has an open campus within a security perimeter. The hospital operates approximately 826 beds.
